Digital Layouts

I just uploaded my 100th layout on my picasa album. I have been doing these speed scraps like crazy and it is really helping me to get pages done. Here are some of my most recent and favorite ones.

This one means a lot to me, since I just lost my grandpa. The picture was taken at a lunch celebrating my grandma's 80th birthday. My cousin captured the moment, and it is one that I will cherish for sure!

Here is Spencer's first day of school this year.

I just love this picture of Jamison with his stuffed monkey- 'Dangles'. Isn't that face just the cutest little thing ever?!

This one I just did today- it is a layout of Phantom of the Opera, which we attended just a couple of weeks ago with some friends. It was so fun, and for being 'non-cultural' play/opera people; Jamey and I were the only ones in the group that had seen the performance once before.

So there are just a few of the latest ones. There is another speed scrap tonight, so one more layout that will get done- YEAH!!! Now if I would just get some more done in chronological order I could have a book made soon!!

Disney on Ice/ 3rd Missing Tooth

(I am just going to combine these two posts.) On Saturday we went as a family to Disney on Ice. It was Jamison's 'real' birthday present this year. Anyone who knows me, knows that I like to celebrate my birthday- a lot. I have been known to celebrate for a week sometimes. Well as following in style, we had 3 different events for Jamison's birthday this year as well. Starting with dinner with friends the night before his birthday, then birthday dinner and cake with family and finally 2 weeks later going to see Disney on Ice. Oh boy did the boys both LOVE it. I had somehow gotten really good seats too. We sat right on the floor- just in front of the ice. They were right in the action. Spencer had 'Dash' sit right next to him and Jamison got to shake 'Pluto's' hand. It was all very enjoyable watching the looks on their faces.

Aunt Staci bought these shirt for the boys as a present to go with the new baby present- we thought this event was a good time to wear them.

Yesterday coming home from church Spencer told me that he had another loose tooth. I told him to keep working on it, but he said that it hurt to wiggle. I thought that this meant that it would be a while before tooth was really going to come out. Then this morning he showed it to me again and he wiggled that thing a ton. After he had finished his dinner he reached into his mouth to do some wiggling and found that it was GONE. He must have eaten with his dinner. He started to cry and said that the tooth fairy wasn't going to leave him any money now since he didn't have a tooth to give her. We told him that it was ok and asked him to write her a letter and tell her what had happened. I just can't believe how fast he is losing teeth!

Catch-Up

Sorry I have been so bad at blogging lately. It's not that I haven't had anything to write about, but just neglecting it. So here are a few things that have happened in last 2 weeks. I will try to keep it short- I know none of you want to read a book about us.

On Friday March 6th, Spencer was walking home from school when a bigger boy was throwing rocks at another boy and Spencer got caught in the mix. He is ok- I was a bit scared, but the principal at the school was very kind and helpful trying to make sure that the boy who threw the rock knew what happened.

Right after we got him home and cleaned up I left for the evening to attend Time Out for Women. It was wonderful to go with such good friends and especially my mom and sister. I went again all day on Saturday. The last time I went my grandma was with us, she was really missed.

After I got home on Saturday evening we hurried and left to Red Robin with our friends the Briggs to celebrate Jamison's birthday a day early. The restaurant was so busy, but I think everyone had fun. Jamison loved the whipped topping on my shake, but not the lettuce on my dinner plate. He was trying to spit it out and he couldn't get it all so he ended up gagging and throwing up all over Jamey. Then when they brought him out his ice cream he spit out the two bites all over me. Jamey and I left covered in grossness and needing to wash some clothes.
Sunday the 8th of March was Jamison's birthday. It was pretty low key. I took cupcakes to nursery and the nursery leaders made him a cute little birthday hat. Then my parents and sister and brother came over for dinner and cake. He very proudly tells everyone that he is 3. All he talks about is GeoTrax- which was the big hit of day. We already had TONS of pieces, but he got the new airplane set. That little kid can spend hours just watching the trains go around and around on the track.

That about covers the major things of the last weekend. Jamey is out of town again this week for work- but we are hoping that it is his last trip until after this little baby comes. We are officially on the count down- hopefully only a little less than 5 weeks!!

Happy Birthday Jamison!!

I can't believe that 3 short years ago my baby was born!! I asked him this morning- where does the time go? Will you stay my baby? He replied- No. We have been so blessed to have this sweet little boy in our family. He is such a cute little thing!!!
