I did it!! I finished and I am still alive. I think that this was one of the hardest things I have ever done, but I feel such a sense of accomplishment for doing it. Kris was an amazing motivator and kept me going. I think I am really going to be feeling it tomorrow though. I ran 5 miles of the 6.2. Now we are just trying to decide which race we are running next. The only way we had to take pictures was with my phone so I hope to have pictures soon. Here are my stats-

Update: For the record my family was all ok and the weather seemed to not hit them at all. However Windsor was hit pretty hard and my younger brother and brother-in-law spent the day today helping with clean up efforts. After I get home tomorrow from the Bolder Boulder Jamey wants to go help with clean up as well. I did hear later that there was one fatality. Our prayers are with all the people who were vastly effected.
The weather has proven to be quite interesting today. Today was suppose to be Spencer's last day of school, but when we arrived the teacher told us to go back home, because there was a tornado lock down at the school and all the kids were in the bathrooms waiting it out. Then just as I was getting home our town signaled tornado sirens. I don't think it is as bad here, but I really worry a lot more about my parents. Several people are out of power in the north east- I think the news said 1500 people (my sister is one of those). There also was a tornado that touched down in Windsor that is about 30 miles west of where my parents live. The new reported 6 to 7 tornados that have touched down in Weld County and now there is another bad storm that is just east of them that is dropping lots of hail. The picture below shows the weather
as of now and it shows the storm just east of my parents. As you can see Greeley is in the dark red spot- so my parents live just north east of there. We are in the green, south of Greeley so all we keep getting is wind and dark clouds. Every now and again we get a little bit of rain but not much more. I have several talks to Spencer today about what a tornado is and what kind of damage they can cause. We have been watching the news most of the afternoon as well. I feel blessed that it didn't cause too much damage- nothing like wiping out the whole town or anyone killed- but at the same time it is so weird that it has hit my little world. My sister and I were talking earlier today and we started reminiscing about growing up in the county and east part of Colorado. There were several times that we had to go to our basement and wait out storms. However, nothing ever came of the storms and we were always safe. Once again we are safe and waiting out the crazy weather in Colorado. I'm praying that my parents don't get too much of the bad weather either.I am really bad at this, but my sister tagged me, so I thought I'd try it. However to everyone else- don't be offended if I haven't done your tags, maybe some day I'll get to it. :)

Ash I hope you know that you are a wonderful mother to the precious little one you already have and the next little ones that join your family will be such a blessing to you and Logan. Stay strong the Lord is mindful of you and we all need to deal with trials, it will make you a better mom because fight. Lots of love- xoxoxWe are so super excited for Devin. I know he will be a great missionary and will have a wonderful experience. We also found out today that Bermuda is in his mission, so that would be neat if he got the chance to serve there for a while.
What touched me the most was what Jamey told him. He said- Do me a favor and get everything taken care of before you go and don't come home early. Once you go, stay there and complete your work. Then later in the car while driving home Jamey said- I don't have a lot of regrets in life, but that is one of mine. Then through my tears I told him that if he had stayed and finished his mission, his life would have ended up different and he might never have met me. So all things happen for a reason and we all grow and learn from our life lessons. I think more than anything it is so neat that we can share these things with others and try to help them from making some of the same mistakes we have made. He is being such a powerful example to my children and for that I am very grateful.

Sorry it has been so long- don't be upset Kris- but I have been super busy and not with much that is exciting to write about. I went to Women's Conference last weekend with my good friend and we had so much fun. I needed some time away, but the lack of sleep killed me for the next 2 days. In the last week I have had so much family news hit me. Some good and exciting, some very sad and heart wrenching.
*My oldest brother and his wife had their second baby boy on Saturday the 3rd. His name is Wyatt McCabe, and from what I understand everything went well and they are doing good.
*My little brother is waiting for his mission call and hopes to hear where he will be serving by the weekend. So more to come on that news.
*We did not get good news from the doctor about my grandmother yesterday. He doesn't seem to think that the radiation treatment that they tried worked, so now we are in the waiting game to see how long she will be with us. The doctor hopes to keep her pain level at a minimum, so he gave her some pain pills.
*My dear sister-in-law Amanda also has recently gotten some bad news about her mother. We are all praying hard for her and her family right now.
Then there is more, although not my place to share right now. So thus dynamics of a family, right? I am so glad though that I have people that I love that can share both the good and bad with; to laugh with and to cry with.
