Oh Baby

I am just so proud of this new layout I just did- so I wanted to share.

A little update on Everett: He really hasn't been the best baby. He screamed a lot, so last Thursday I broke down and took him to the doctor. Well- he has acid reflux problems. We got him on Prevacid and now finally a week later I think it is working and things seem to be much better. He still cries when he burps, but it is a cry not screaming which is defiantly progress. Everyday is a little better than the one before- we are so glad!!

This morning I did get asked the BIG question by Spencer- how are babied made? I just smiled and asked him what he thought. He told me that he thought it was from lots of kissing. I said, well yes- thinking that this was the end of the conversation, but he followed it up by asking; how? This is when I wish it was Jamey being asked these questions!! I didn't go into detail, but whatever I said was enough for now, because he dropped the subject. Can you tell how much I am NOT looking forward to these boys growing up?!

What We've Been Up To

A week ago we felt like the boys needed something fun to do- since all we had done was hang out at home. So we ventured out for the first time; the whole family- three kids!! We had gotten a gift card to the Butterfly Pavilion for Christmas a year ago, but had never used it. We thought this would be a good time. The boys had a wonderful time and Spencer even held the the spider!!

I think I can FINALLY post about this:I have been waiting- because I didn't want to jinx anything, but I think he has got it. We tried several months ago, but he was just not ready. Then when Everett was 4 days old I was woken to Spencer telling me that Jamison peed in my office. When I asked him why he peed on the floor in my office he replied by saying- I don't want to wear diapers anymore. So while Jamey was off of work, he spent the week potty training Jamison. We had a couple of accidents, and getting him to understand how to pooh in the potty was a trick- but we have successfully accomplished it. He even wears his big boy underwear to bed!! Yesterday while at the store he said to some random stranger: I am a big brother and I wear underwear. Jamey and I just died laughing.

I had a great Mother's Day. I went to just my sacrament meeting, and then back to our good friends ward for their sacrament meeting. Robb was speaking and I knew he would do a good job, so I wanted to hear him. Boy was I right- he had me crying at the very beginning, and I don't cry much! After church we went up to my parents house to celebrate with my mom and sister. Mom made a wonderful dinner for us all- then the boys all washed dishes after. My mom used her very nice china and crystal for dinner and Jamey being the prankster that he is decided to play a joke on my mom. While carrying in the dishes to be put away he pretended to drop one of her crystal glasses breaking it- instead it was another glass, but it sure scared my mom. She almost started to cry until Ashley told her it was fake. We got her entire reaction on video and it was priceless. I guess that is Jamey's way of saying Happy Mother's Day. :-)

I love you- mom and Ashley!!

Our Garden

We have been wanting to start a garden for over a year now, but just haven't wanted to spend the money nor did we have the energy last year. Since Jamey was taking the week off because of Everett being born, we decided that this would be a perfect project for him. The boys got very excited about planting some veggies they love to eat. They were both very big helpers too when it was time to plant. Now we are interested to see how the plants will grow and hope to have some wonderful fruits and veggies this summer.

More Everett

I have been really bad about posting more pictures- SORRY! We are all really enjoying him. Spencer can't get through a meal without getting up 2 or 3 times to 'just check on Everett'. Jamison says a million times a day 'I love baby Everett'. And then he proceeds to tell us everything that he loves about Everett- his toes, his hands, and his bum. It is really cute. Everett is enduring the kisses and hugs very well.
