I LOVE having pictures of my boys taken. Becky of course did a Fantastic job again with them. I love how they turned out!

Everett had his 2 month check up on Wednesday. He is doing so much better! He is 12 pounds and 24 1/4 inches long. He is growing WAY too fast! We have his acid reflux under control which is so good for him and us. We are still working on his skin- he may have issues all his life thanks to dad. He just has such sensitive and dry skin. But isn't just so darn cute!! We'll keep him!

2 Months and More
I have really been bad about blogging! Everett is officially 2 months old today. He is doing so much better. We still have moments, but over all he is a fun baby. We tried to go a couple of days without the Prevacid, but found out quickly that he really does need it. He is over 11 pounds already. I will have the real weight and height after our appointment next week. He is eating very well though. We have caught a few glimpse of a smile, but nothing that we can capture on a camera. He sleeps well, but not as good as his brothers did. He is a constant reminder that he is his own person and different from the other two boys. Just one more personality to love, right? Both Spencer and Jamison still can't get enough of Everett. They both still ask to hold him and have to come into my room every morning to say good morning. It really is cute; Jamison cannot leave him alone. I took this picture this morning after Jamison begged again to hold Everett. I am amazed at how long he can hold him too. He really doesn't get tired of it, usually I have to just Everett from him. I have been working a bit here and there and Everett does good during those times. Plus I have plenty of clients who prefer to sit and hold him while they are getting their services done if need be. But most of the time I try to have him sleeping, which has worked out good.
This picture was taken a week ago when visiting the dentist office. We thought it was an appropriate pacifier for the visit. :-)
We were there for Spencer- he had to have his first cavity filled. He did so well. I was defiantly nervous, but he was so still. Maybe it helps that he was going to see grandpa- I don't know. It wasn't a very bad one, he didn't need any shots to numb the area. That probably helped too. We promised to take him to the store to pick out a prize if he did good, and he was excited to go get something new. Bribery always works for him. :-)

Disclaimer- I'm not a happy mom!!
I have never done this, but I didn't have anywhere else to just rant about my afternoon. I usually leave this up to my friend Kris, :-) she is way better at writing about people's ill behavior than me.
I went to get my oil changed today, which I have been putting off for way to long. Who wants to go sit somewhere for 30 minutes or longer with 3 boys?! Anyway while I am there waiting some lady comes in with her very hairy, shedding dog. The boys had fun petting him, but the lady had no concern for other people at all. She let the dog get up the chair next me and then he started licking my arm. I am one who does not like dogs that lick. The dog was on a leash, but I don't really know why. It had free range of the place. But the real kicker for me was when the dog came over to my sleeping Everett and stuck it's head in the car seat. He tried to lick Everett until I pushed his head away. The lady only looked at me and said, he knows babies and puppies he is very soft. Are you kidding me?! I don't dislike dogs, but I think people who like to take their dogs with them should have a bit more curiosity for others!
Then we went to the grocery store. Spencer was sitting in the cart and Jamison was laying under the cart. I had some old man come up to me and tell me that Jamison shouldn't be there. I said I think he is fine and tried to walk away. But the man proceeded to follow me a bit and kept telling me that I needed him to move and all the reasons why he needed to move. I finally just looked at him and said that is where he is and he is fine. He left, but not without giving me a very dirty look. I guess I just don't understand what gives people the right to tell you what to do with your children. If Jamison had gotten hurt, then that would be my fault and I would have to deal with it- but really just keep it to yourself!!

Blessing Day
I am only a week late posting this. :-) It's funny how the more children you have the more low key things like this seem to be. On Sunday May 24th we blessed Everett. We had Jamey's older brother Jeff and his wife Kelly come out from Utah as well as Jamey's mom. This was the first of my children that I didn't have my whole family together. With my two older brothers moving to new states, it was just impossible to have them here. Although they were really missed. However my youngest brother was now able to stand in the circle- which was a first, and that was pretty cool! Everett wore the same blessing outfit that Spencer did. Jamey's great aunt made the little tux when we had Spencer. (We blessed Jamison when he was 3 months old and he didn't fit into this tux, so we bought him one of his own.)
On a side note: We were back at the doctor again on Friday for Everett. He has a heat rash- which is just wild. We got some ointment to take care of that. Then today he broke out all over his neck with something different. I called my brother and he said it sounded like impetigo (that is a staph infection of the skin). The doctor had made a comment about that on Friday and told us to watch for it. Luckily he had already sent a prescription over for a typical antibiotic so that we can hopefully get this cleared up fast. I feel so bad for little guy- he has had a rough 5 weeks! On the flip side the Prevacid is working really good and he seems be doing better with the reflux.
